5.10.1 here. Nice!

VirtualBox has issues with this kernel. This patch fix the thing (WFM). There's no VirtualBox release to fix it for now.

5.10.1 running just fine!

Can anyone summarize important changes between 5.4 and 5.10?

5.10 breaks VirtualBox installation, (installed via VirtualBox .run file) "vboxconfig" is unable to repair

Dropping back down to Kernel version 5.4.84 resolves issue

See posts #2784 and #2790 in this thread.
Since post #2790, there have been three or four new releases. Currently, I have Test Build Linux 64-bit, 6.1.x revision 141968, installed and it works just fine.
We will probably see a new release within the next business day or two.

Hello everyone;

It is good news to move to 5.10.1, maybe we are closer to slackware 15.0! However it is not running so nice here. After about 4 hours I had a locked up mouse and keyboard, dmesg log:

Bluetooth isn't working on my Asus X75 laptop either under 5.10.1 - current x86-64

From syslog:

Code:
Bluetooth: hci0: don't support firmware rome 0x31010000
I'm guessing an upcoming kernel-firmware package update should solve this.

If it's just to needing updated firmware, you can try and run Pat's kernel-firmware.SlackBuild script (grab the slack-desc as well, so the package info in pkgtools isn't broken) as it will download the latest firmware from kernel.org and package it up.
