Linux Mint 21.3, not only ran, but fixed all my issues. I did have to apply the other bootia32.efi file, and do the same procedure, roughly with the other zip file. I also had to use the GRUB command line to boot the system, once I got it installed. I needed to run:
To install the OS. Sound and everything, "just worked". My scripts worked with some more simple modifications. No other issues and now I can use the tablet like I've always wanted to.
