Trouble with xfce compositor on Slackware 13.1

Hello,
Today i have tried a little thingie called cairo-dock, combined with xfce and turning off quite a bit of unnecessary bling, bling. I've found it is rather comfortable to use. But i have little trouble with Xfce. For cairo-dock, i need to enable compositor in Xfce-settings --> window manager tweaks --> compositor. But when i do that, my Xfce task bar panel becomes transparent, and if i hover with mouse on it, then it becomes opaque. I hate this, i hate this, i hate this, I want it to aether stay transparent all the time, or better yet, to be opaque all the time. But cannot seem to find any options for this. In compositor settings section, all is set to opaque. Is there a hidden config for this somewhere?

Thank you very much in advance,
Totoro-kun

In xfce4-settings-manager --> panel --> set the transparency level to 0.

Right click on the panel, choose customise panel and and change the transparency to 0%
