unwanted programs loading on startup

sorry to post two questions so close to each other...

at the moment when i load up X i get XMMS, KDiskFree, Konqueror and a random nautilus window opening...after a restart etc and i've made sure "save current setup" isn't checked.

could somebody point me to the file / folder that is equivalent to the startup folder in WinXP because i haven't the slightest clue where to look!

I asuspect this is the man9.2 bug. I have yet to see if the update on this problem actually works.

You can correct the problem until you have the fix by configuration-configure yourdesktop-components-session manager click on either restore manual, or start with empty session.
