Thanks Ph0enix2003. I have it downloaded and installed, just trying to figure out my sound card now...

i still don't see any direct support for putting Linux on my Vic 20....

It looks like maybe your chip has some support now (I guess OSS will already) in CVS. Check out the alsa project. You may have relief.
