Unhappy Red Hat 7.2 Update


Hi
i want to update my 7.2 version through the net but rhn_register dont work for me.i get this error

A socket error occured: (111, 'Connection refused'), attempt #1
pls tell me what to do

hi
i am completely newbie.how can i check if my rhn daemon is running?

You can find out if you run the sysvinit editor. Look at runlevel 5 and the 'start' section. Scroll to see if anything rhn is running. If not, on the left you can scroll untill you see it and drag it to the startup area you were just looking at. You'll need to have an account (free) setup with redhat to use the up2date utility, which is ultimately how you update redhat.
