I posted a similiar question in the General Forum and now I realize I should have posted it here. I'm running Mandrake 8.2 and recently got setup with sprint dsl using earthlink.net as an isp. A few days ago I was going to check and see if there were any security updates however, Mandrake Update wouldn't show any updates available and I can't add any new sources. I tried going to a known good ftp site tonight with Konqueror telling me it couldn't connect to the host. I have bastille loading but I haven't done any configuring on it, I assume its loading with the defaults. I have my security setting as standard. What am I missing? I have no problems going to web pages with any browser, however LIcq won't connect either. Thanks for any assistance.
