How to fix display resolution by source code

I would like to fix display resolution as 8K by source code.
Now, I'm developping an original kernel based on 4.14.y, that used for android.
Which source code I have to fix ?

Not a kernel dev but pretty sure it has nothing to do with display resolution. That would be a job for xorg or Wayland. I could be wrong though.

Thank you.
How to fix resolution for wayland ?
xorg can be fix by xorg.conf, but I don't know wayland.
I develop Android system, that must have fixed resolution display, and not change the resolution.

I tested, I connected hdmi to android box, and get logcat, it not show the resolutions I need.

These resolutions seems be retrieved from EDID.
I would like to set resolution independent by EDID.
