Splix driver for Samsung

I want to buy a SAMSUNG ML-1660 or 1665, but I can't find it listed in the Splix database.

Does anybody know wether it works? The last working in the list is ML-1640, and I think that this 2 printers are quite similar to it, but I would like to be sure before buying it

They work...

Samsung has linux drivers for these printers.

I finally got the printer and tried it.

SPLIX does not work with ML-1660, at least in its nowadays implementation...

Nobody said SPLIX...

The implicit suggestion was that you would consider this Samsung printer with the Samsung driver; nothing else was guaranteed.
