jumpy mouse?


RH9, gnome

My mouse works fine except its kinda jumpy like when i move it around it skips Ive got the right driver installed and ive played with the settings is there a way to make the mouse move smoother? thanks

in the terminal type:
top
and see if anything is sucking up all your memory/cpu..

Ya know i do top all the time but im not sure what the h*ll im looking at, What headings should i check? cpu and memory of course but what should they be around?
