I've been having a play with Suse 7.3 and i've really grown to like the startup screen that displays all the bootup messages inside a graphic picture. Is it possible to tweak other distributions to do the same? Is it a tweak of Aurora? Anybody have any ideas?
I use Mandrake and cant stand Auroras graphical style login, but the new Suse one has grown on me quite a lot. It shows me all the info I need while looking professional at the same time. I'll have a search of the web to see if I can find this new plugin..
There is a similar thing on this picture. The only difference is that some guy has added a konsole style border. The standard suse 7.3 screen just has a black box where all the loading messages appear.
