Help with Cedega (WineX)

Ok, I just got Cedega. I started to install a 2 disk game called Medieval:Total War. I used the setup.exe file from disk 1 and the install finished about 50%. It asks me for disk 2, so I put it in, and it keeps asking for the disk when it's in, so I press ok. Please Help.

how are you mounting unmounting the cdrom? if the cd is not mounted after you put the 2nd cd in, then cedega will not know it is there.

What do you mean mount and unmount? I open the cd try manually, and put the 1st disk in, pick setup.exe, and it installs about half way...then it asks for disk 2, so I manually open the cd tray and pop it in and press ok. it keeps asking for disk 2.

then you have not umount /dev/cdrom or what ever you distro calls your CD device.

you have to umount before you can remove the first CD. this tells the system that it no longer has access to the data on that CD. then you must mount /dev/cdrom so the system knows it has information it can grab off of a CD.

there is a great tutorial for installing multi-CD games in the TG forums.

i normally do it by having open a 2nd konsole loged in as root and just manually mount or umount as i need in order to gain access to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc... CD of the install.
