Fedora Core 2 installation

Hello Everyone,

I have upgraded from Fedora Core 1 to version 2. The version 1 install was a lot better than the version 2 install. It appears in Version 2 you are not prompted to upgrade. So I did a clean install. Then it was unable to use DHCP for both of my network adapters. I had to edit resolv.conf and enter in the IP for my Linksys router.

My main problem is that with Kernel 2.6 it doesn't appear to detect my Toshiba Wireless adapter the way 2.4 did. Is anyone else having this problem?

FC2 does recognize previous installs and asks you if you want to upgrade.
