Fedora Core 4 installation


I'm trying to install Fedora Core 4. Boot form CD.. and get the message

Caldera DR-DOS 7.03
Copyright (c) 1998 Caldera, Inc. All rights reserved

[DR-DOS] A:\>


What does it mean?

Bootable CDs sometimes use floppy emulation for compatability's sake.
Try booting a different pc with the disk, if same error... reburn.

It's prolly an error on disk causing it to abort early, then you see the floopy environment.

I would personally reburn, it might solve this problem completely.

Problem was in CD. I burned the CD again and upgrade Fedora Core 4
