Can't persistent boot in 9.04
Hi
I'm trying to boot Linux Mint 7 from a USB drive (for those unaware, Mint is, more or less, Ubuntu 9.04 with flash, mp3 & libdvdcss added). I performed the install with usb-creator, and it boots fine, except that changes are not saved persistently.
Adding 'persistent' (no quotes) as a boot option when I switch my laptop on causes linux to boot into a basic initramfs shell... not sure why that is.
Anyone be able to tell me how I can get a persistent install working, installing the software I need with apt every time I switch my computer on is really starting to irritate. Please say if / what other info needed
Cheers,

[ P.S. might as well ask... spotify invites, anyone? thanks. ]
