Dude, I believe the problem is rather yours than Slackware's.

When other distributions ran great for years and Slackware 15 runs out of memory, it is a problem.

Yeah, I knew that I could check the logs but I was looking for a quick suggestion as to what the problem may be based on other people's experience who have run Slackware 15 for a while.

It's been 14 years since I have run Slackware. And having run Linux since 2002, yes, I know a thing or two. I signed off early because I didn't have a lot of time to troubleshoot and don't have the time right now.

I thought maybe someone would have a few quick ideas as to what may be causing it. If searching through log entries is the only path forward, then so be it.

Indeed. Here Slackware runs great for years.

I like Slackware in spite of my current experience. I just wish it had been a better out-of-the-box experience after 14 years of using other distros...
