A 3rd interview was not needed... I have the job if I want it. Next week, we will discuss the monetary and other terms. Win! My stress levels have decreased so much that I will have a look at the new Chromium and KDE releases this weekend.
Congratulations Alien Bob! That's always a relief knowing the job is yours if you want it. Makes it a lot easier knowing that you have secured means to keep supporting your family.

It is in cycling distance from where I live. My job would that of Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer in the Electrical Engineering Support Department of IT.
Interestingly, the IT Director told me when I sent him a "thank you for hiring me" message, that he has a challenge for me. Literally he said "build a Slackware-like community here inside ASML".
I'll try to introduce the concept of trolling to make it a real challenge ;-)
Excellent. I'm really happy for you, man. :-)
Congratulations.
ASML’s corporate headquarters is in Veldhoven, Netherlands. It is also the location for research, development, manufacturing and assembly. ASML has a worldwide customer base and over sixty service points in sixteen countries. The company is listed on both the AEX and NASDAQ Stock Exchanges, as ASML.
Time to check them out on the NASDAQ for potential investment options.

Does that mean discussions go off the rails whenever s y s t e m d or P o e t t e r i n g is mentioned? (Looks around nervously for a4z...)
Eric, my friend, I cannot in less that 15,000 words express my appreciation and respect for you. I was once a newbie Slacker back in 2006, having finally said to Hell with MS. It's been an exciting adventure this last 10 years with Slack. It would have been much less fun and much more difficult without you doing all those things you do so well for Slackware and its fans.
You are a highly skilled, intelligent young man. I'm pretty sure someone out there in IT world will realize this and offer you the position and pay that you most definitely deserve. After having my own career (electronics repair - RF Communications/Audio) disappear from my country 20 years or so ago, it's been an steep uphill slog to make ends meet; particularly after turning 50 years old. You won't have these problems, though. Your skill set is in demand all over the world.
Edit:
I wanted to add, we can see from AlienBOB's comment that putting in work and supporting online communities/OSS goes a long way these days. It really shows who has passion for Tech.
