That's a bit rich, coming from a Debian user.

How "badly outdated" are openssl, openssh and other critical software packages in Debian?

Unfortunately, I can't donate or purchase anything because of financial sanctions against my country. We can't use international credit cards.

Does anyone know an alternative way for Slackware support?

Hi,
What a splendid notion ... my $22 is in the pot!

Which makes me think .... that's 22 years I have been using Slackware ... I must be getting old :-)

cheers

Yes, nuclear deal reached. But I don't think it change anything for Iranian people. Maybe for Syria, Yemen and Lebanon but not for Iranians.
Anyway, at least I can perform my duty to donate to Slackware and this will be enough for me.

Good idea , .... except I'd prefer to make a one time payment of the exact same price every year , say $50.00 or what one can afford, as well as purchasing items from the slackware store of course.

Another way could be to just have automatic payments of $2 to $5 a week donated to Patrick Volkerding and the team. There is a hell of a lot of work they do, and I think ... as dedicated slackware users, the slackware team more than deserve such funds from us.

So maybe automatic payments each week or each month ... and on anniversary of July 16th every year one must purchase from the slackware store.

Many thanks and congratulations to Patrick Volkerding and his team! I'll do my donation on 17th, because Slackware 1.00 was announced on 17 July 1993 in GMT/UTC.

My Slackware Mayan t-shirt and a computer caseplate arrived in the mail yesterday and I am wearing the shirt at work.
So far, no one asked about it, I think I will have to walk around the corridors a bit more.

The DVD set and the book I have, but what I really want is a coffee mug.
I found a place in San Jose, California, by the name of, zazzle.com, who makes, or will make, a mug with the Slackware Logo,

http://www.zazzle.com/classic_slackw...78914022094210

but don't know if the BDFL would benefit (share in the profits) if a purchase were made from that site. Anyone know?
