We can only speculate though...
Is the Facebook post enough for you guys or are you going to wait until Pat posts here?
Along with the announcement of Slackware 15 beta 1... well, one can dream.

I for one will be waiting for an official announcement. I have a Facepalm (Facebook) account and was not aware of that group, I am now and joined it.

Released Slackware has gpg signed packages, I suppose Pat could just add his gpg signature there to anticipate such questions?

Same. I deleted my last corporate surveillance platform (FB) in February.

Nord Theme

One of my favorite themes (since posting themes seems acceptable here) is the Nordic Theme. It is missing a few icons though, but that's fine.

I actually started making more icons for it recently and plan on submitting them to the project.

I think LQ is now my only 'social media' platform now. Hehehe unless IRC and XMPP count.

Ya.. LQ is definitely a social network in the sense that it brings people together on a website to talk about stuff. So sorry to spoil it for all you who think you're not on one but.. this most definitely is...

Maybe I'm naive but I still draw a distinction between basic message boards and the wider social sites that have 'likes' 'subscriptions' 'followers' and all that other jazz.

I'd still rather use offline readers than web based fora.
I miss FIDONET.

I do wish there were a terminal app for offline/online LQ. That would just be awesome.

You could use w3m. I wrote this post using w3m. It wasn't simple but it's certainly doable.
