Dlink Dwl-g122 rev. E1: how to install it on Slackware?

Hello everybody,
I'm trying to install the wifi dongle Dlink Dwl-G122 rev. E1 on Slackware 13.37.
I blacklisted the following modules:
blacklist rt2x00usb
blacklist rt2x00lib
blacklist rt2800usb

and after running "modprobe rt2870sta" and "ifconfig wlan up" the dongle's light turned on and flashed.
I installed wicd 1.6.2.2 but it couldn't find any wireless network. If i ran "iwlist wlan0 scan" it could find the network. So I rebooted the pc. Now the dongle's light isn't flashing anymore and if I run "ifconfig wlan0 up", I get "SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not permitted" and if I run the same "iwlist wlan0 scan" it says "wlan0 Interface doesn't support scanning : Network is down"...
What can I do?
