brave-browser-1.61.104-x86_64-1_SBo & Downloads

Built this off the Slackbuild for 15.0, and it works on ~Current-20231226 as well;. But they both have this fault:

Downloads are downloaded as "Unconfirmed\ Download-<six digits>" and not renamed after the download is complete. I renamed one, and it seemed fine. Download errors are quite unusual here. But they are never renamed, as I am sure they should be.

Any ideas? Is this a known issue? Brave-1.56 worked just fine.

I use the sbo script for Brave and have downloaded the 1.61 version with no naming problem. I do a wget manually.

Why bother with wget? Why not left-click or right click/Save As...??

It sounds like you don't use those mouse options.

Just because I modify the .info and .Slackbuild file and do a wget on the new name. I don't take the time to open the browser on the git repository of the Brave browser.

I didn't have any naming problem.

How you get the Slackbuild isn't the issue, I think. I've built the browser using the Slackbuild (from Chromium-ungoogled), and brave-1.61 won't rename completed downloads of other files that I download with brave-1.61.
