some issues with CentOSv7 and NTP with timedatectl set-ntp yes


not working.

first time around i didnt have ntp installed so it should fail to activate, but after install ntp why is it still not enabled even after running the proper command to activate ntp mode?

EEEEK!!!!

SystemD... the Godless hellscape I've been warned about....

It's probably damnation to even talk to you, but I just can't stand the thought of your little NTP client constantly grinding away at your processor, trying to find a time server that doesn't have a name... because you never configured it in /etc/ntp... or at least that's the way it appears.

Come to the light, child...
