One thing I see: indicates I have Mint 18.1 installed?? My ISO is 18.2 Linux Mint

put the command: nano /etc/apt/sources.list

Check under /etc/apt/sources.d/, there's more than one source that is looked at, just most of the "user" defined ones are /etc/apt/sources.list

And by the looks of it, you are running the ubuntu (NOT debian) flavor of mint.
