bootmisc.sh in init.d not noticed by fedora?
Ok so someone told me to goto /etc/init.d and insert a file called bootmisc.sh in there with all the configs for my tv card. I put the text below in the file:
#!/bin/sh
/sbin/modprobe bttv pll=1 radio=1 card=34 tuner=38
exit
At starup this file is ignored though and the system loads up the old card settings and i have to run the script manually every time i reboot. I have tried leaving off the .sh bit as well. I'm using Fedora Core 3 on Athlon i686. How do i get fedora to notice this file ?????????????
This should be an easy one for guys, please suggest a better option.
