thinkpad 600x xwindows problems
I am trying to get X 4.2.0 (Slackware 8.1) to work on an IBM Thinkpad 600x (PIII 500MHz). It works fine except the display is in a little box and doesn't take up the whole LCD, and the only resolution it seems to be running at is 640x480. I added Modes lines to XF86Config, but in /var/log/XFree86.0.log there are a bunch of lines telling me "Dropping mode X, hsync is out of range, falling back on default 640x480." Any idea as to how I can fix this?
