Question Removing unwanted RH 7.2 packages!!

Hi folks-
Just been here for the last 24 hrs, and already you guys have done a wonderful job in guiding a linux noob like me
Ok lets get things to the point. I am presently using RH 7.2 and I have opted for the workstation installation class.....but behold a lot of packages have been installed on my over-burdened HD. I know as with all OS some of these packages are a complete waste of disk space. Could you guys be kind enough to tell me which of these packages dont hit the mark and deserve to be booted. If so how??

Thx
Mark

P.s: BTW i use Gnome with Sawfish if that could help!

Removing unwanted RH 7.2 packages!!

just use gnorpm to get a list of the installed software in a tree. uninstall what you don't think you need. persoanlly i'd start with all the docs. gnorpm will give a brief description of what each package does.
