mirror address for a zenwalk 6

bonjour
Merci d'avance

Hello
here is my concern. I just installed a zenwalk 6.4 on an old laptop for my wife so that she can just have an e-mail and a browser. Why the 6.4 because my computer only has a cd drive and does not boot not on USB key.
Everything is almost perfect; running smoothly and everything is working .....
Except, except for the browser which can no longer access many sites; no big deal I tell myself I am updating or reloading a new browser. But there, Netpkg no longer has a working mirror site. I have handsome looking, I can't find a valid address
Can someone help me with an operational mirror or if it exists can I rebuild the distribution lighter so that the iso will fit on a cd?
thanks in advance

I guess that 6.4 is just too old. You need to use something newer.

Hi

The latest Zenwalk 15 ISO can be burnt onto CD, and hopefully should run without problem on a very old PC as long as it supports 64bits (everything built after 2002 should be x86_64 ready).

The setup will run in Legacy (non UEFI), which is still supported by upstream.

Else buy a newer PC from around 2010, it will only cost around 50€, if it cost anything... (I think you can easily get one for free)

Have fun
jp
