getting amarok to take shortcuts in gome

i have gusty installed with kubuntu-desktop also there.

i am using amarok to play my music as its much better than rythambox...

but in gnome it dousent accept its shortcuts
eg super+b to skip to next track, super+"+" to increace volume... etc.
nor does it accept the web keyboard style shortcut keys

both of thease work when using KDE but not gnome..

Use Gnome's control center to configure shortcut keys to this:

Skip backwards in playlist
amarok --previous

Skip forwards in playlist
amarok --next

Start playing current playlist
amarok --play

Stop playback
amarok --stop

Pause playback
amarok --pause

See the Amarok man page and documentation for more.

there apears to be no option in the gnome controll centre to do this...

all keyboard shortcuts lets me change is the keey assigned to each feild, not what that feild actually does....
is this some duming down option in ubuntu in which case how do i turn it off?
