Arrow Next step: Akonadi - MariaDB

Now, for the Akonadi / Mariadb part, what should I do / give you as information ?
I know neither my Akonadi nor MySQL-MariaDB server starts at startup, and even when I manually start them they crash

Why would I have to create another user ?
Akonadi (and all the other process) should work on my "Eric" user

And what is special in the fact akonadi is a user process ? Do I have to create that user in the user base ? do I have to create a user for every process ? that is something that should be done by YAST

Do it or do it not, its on you.

So you can see if it is a system problem or a problem by the users /home.

OK, switch to new user, start Kontact, Akonadi starts fine ... I didn't go far, but it looks like it's working.
Amarok is working too, and Knote (Which use Akonadi)

Switch back to Éric, start Kontact, error message:

The Akonadi PIM Personal Information Management service/framework is not operational ...

Any idea, anyone ? why my main User seems to have that problem since day one, as the PIM never worked on user "Eric" since fresh install

How come that my very first user, 1000, has a PIM corrupted from day one, and a second user I just created has a PIM that works right away ?

I understand that easy way, but how do I "clean up" my main user 1000 ?

Once more:
Nobody knows, what you have done there.
So revert all, what you have done in your users /home.

Like I said, I installed Leap 15.1 from fresh, and the user created at install, nothing modified, PIM's not working from day one.

How do I compare user Eric 1000 and new user (I might find what the difference is?)

Arrow Akonadi works only with user >= 1001

When in YAST / Users / Details, I see a difference between the three users.
I renamed user "Eric 1000" to "Native 1000"
I created user "Eric 1002"

Neither User 1000 nor user 1001 give me any choice on location nor permission, while brand new user 1002 allow me these options ...
