install source not refreshed (newbe help)


When trying to use yast to install programs I keep getting error message that source was not refreshed. how do I correct this?

I am total newbe, Please explain as to idiot child. Also could someone point me to docs, tutorials on suse 10-64 for elementary school level.

Go into Yast>Installation source. Click on the source you want refreshed so as to highlight it. There is a button which says "Refresh On and Off". Click. Your source should now have 'On' Next to 'Refresh'.

If you are new to Suse 10.0 then this will help you set up your system:

On some web based resources the server may be down or take too long to respond (timeout).
