all --

Generic Kernel Version 6.1.24.kjh_p is running fine on my Slackware64 15.0 + Multilib LapTop.

No CVE References were found for 6.2.11, 6.1.24 or 5.15.107, but as always, do check the ChangeLogs for other security-related fixes.

6.3-rc7
Release Candidate 7, for the 6.3 "mainline" development kernel has been been made available for testing.

Saw this,
Quote:
No bad surprise here.
Build results:
total: 153 pass: 153 fail: 0
Qemu test results:
total: 520 pass: 520 fail: 0
https://lkml.iu.edu/hypermail/linux/...4.2/01318.html

and decided to build and try out the 6.3-rc7 kernel.
So far, so good.
The NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-470.182.03.run driver will not build with this kernel and I had to
update VirtualBox to a more recent test build.
So far, the nouveau driver is working fine with LuckyCyborg's kde4 packages running on -current.

Usually, it is the last kernel of the year. Often that is the fifth kernel of the calendar year, but there have been exceptions, as we saw this last year.
