What is the latest Redhat release

I installed redhat 9 on my Acer 1691 laptop, with kernel 2.4.20. I need the updated kernel to get my ethernet/wireless working correctly, but I've been unsuccessful trying to compile it. My question: Is there a redhat release with the newer Kernel that I can download?
I am new with Linux, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Fedora Core 6 is the newest RH desktop:

RH 9 was the last one with the Redhat name and is now Fedora Core.

Welcome to LQ. Please give your threads titles that describe your problem so that others know what your thread is about. Titles such as "newbie question" are not really helpful to those who may want to help you.

As twilli227 mentioned Fedora Core 6 is the current "Redhat" release. (Coincidentally I posted a few days ago on this same topic.)

In any event, welcome to LQ!
