This obviously explains the -rc1 that happened immediately after yesterday's releases (without previews on LKML)

Another batch of updates has been scheduled for release on Saturday, 18 September 2021, at approximately 16:00, GMT. If no problems are found while testing the release candidates, they might be available sometime on Friday (depending on your time zone).

Nope. Same exact problem as I had with -rc1.
I'm not going to waste anymore time on it. Maybe by -rc7 or -rc8, I'll try again.

5.14.6 segfaults

5.14.6 from -current segfaults for me, same as ethtool_get_rxnfc: Buffer overflow detected (8 < 192)!

Looks like it's already fixed in mainline under commit dd98d2895de6. I've just rebuilt the kernel with the same fix (reboot pending), and assuming it works - could we have an official patched kernel for -current ?

Edited to add this fix resolves the segfault, as expected.
