im trying to install kplayer and i get an error...


For the first step i try to do this:

Create configure script

  make -f Makefile.dist
then i get this:

bash-2.05b# make -f Makefile.dist
bash: make: command not found
bash-2.05b#

Have you the make package installed ?

ok, i did ./configure on a file and this is there error i get:

Code:
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.
is there a way to fix this? i think i forgot to install the compiler when i installed linux

Install gcc, make, autoconf and binutils packages
