installing kplayer-0.3.1 in redhat 9


hi,
it tried to install kplayer-0.3.1 in redhat 9.the ./configure was working fine till it went for checking something called 'Qt'.it said the lib was not found and gave a message to check the installation for the lib
i searched for the the lib and found qt-3.1.
i donot know vat to do.
i am dying to see a movie play in redhat 9
can anyone help me with this

install it.'rpm -ivh <filename>
why use kplayer??use mplayer or xine.they are really superb.
