i am trying to install RedHat Enterprise Linux ES 4 on my machine but after booting the installation process crashed before anything could start. Later I tried to change some of my PC's BIOS configuration and after disabling the 'ONBOARD LAN' & 'USB PORTS' the installation process finally started.
The whole installaion process finished on without any interruptions but when I reboot my computer & tried to load the LINUX environment the O/S started to load probing for the hardwares and at the step of 'checking for new hardwares' it halted indefinitely.
i still cannot resolve the problem & can't run RHEL 4 on my PC.If anybody has a suggestion pls refer it immedietely.
