Puppy,
has capability to Revert back to previous OS ?
if can Revert back to previous OS ?
1) If the upgrading has some issues in the middle of upgrading process,
say the installation is aborted , if it will revert everything back to the original states automatically ? or , if it aborts in the middle, the OS will broken, you must reinstall ?
2) If the OS already upgrade successfully, if want to downgrade to
previous Version, if must re-install ?
Thanks
No, Puppy does not have an automated up upgrade feature.
As Michael says, Puppy doesn't auto-upgrade.
Because Puppy is so small - typically less in size than the amount of data that would be downloaded during an upgrade for a mainstream distro - the prevailing attitude is that it's easier to simply install a new Puppy, which has all newer items included with it.
A Puppy install takes perhaps 5 minutes; for those of us who know what we're doing, a 'quick & dirty' install takes less than two.
(Also, as Roky says above, it's easy enough to back up your save-file/folder; this is, after all, where all your personal tweaks /customizations are stored.)

Puppy is small and can be quick install, that's beautiful.
Actually I just care about the configuration file regarding wifi. where I can find the file ?
I just want to copy this wifi config. file in advance before reinstalling and after that,
I copy this wifi config. file back.
Menu->System-> Pup-SysInfo system information. Under the 'Devices' tab, click on 'Network'. Copy/paste this output into your next post, please.....between tags. (Makes it easier to read, y'see.)
This will let us see what your wifi adapter is, and which kernel module (if any) is in use. We'll go from there...
Thanks.
Mike.
