trying to use insight

Hi, after programming on Linux for a couple of months and using printf to debugg I've installed GDB and insight. The code I've written works fine. I'm using/calling my own library files, which have threads running.

When I load the code into insight it starts in the middle of main, when I try to run it I get an error "Cannot initialize thread degugging libary: genetic error."

Can anyone advise thanks.
