SSH server not responding to Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange request message (34)

Hi,

I am using Free SSHd, an SSH server for windows. I am trying to write an SSH client. (I know putty exists! I am doing it just for kicks)

SSH Server version is SSH-2.0........

The Problem - SSH server not responding to Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange request message (34).
Client to Server Packet Payload(in bytes): 34,0,0,4,0,0,0,4,0,0,0,32,0.

PS - I am getting a response for the KEXINIT packet. I am sending the an identical KEXINIT Packet to the server, except for the 16 byte cookie.

I am not sure what it is that I am doing wrong.
Putty is working fine for the same server.

Would really appreciate your inputs.

Thanks,
Gaurav
