ssh problem: key exchange failed

I can ssh to my solaris box in linux just fine, when i use ssh client in windows to connected, it give me the error msg
Quote:
"key exchanged failed"
Key exchange with the remote host failed, this could happen for example if the remote host does not support the select algorithms
I tried to change the encryption algorithm, didn't seem to take any affect?
any ideas?

Are you using PuTTY? That's the program that I use and it never lets me down.

because i am using the commercial client of ssh, however the server i am connecting is using openssh, that's why it's not compatiable
