Okay, I just finished installing java jdk1.3.0_02 from sun. It's completely installed and working well except that whenever I run an application that has any text in it, I get the following on my bash shell:
Font specified in font prpperties not found[--symbol-medium-
r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific]. I'm not sure what's going on here, but if anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. The above comment is specific to gui applications. Do you think I need to install more fonts into my linux system? And if so can anyone let me know how to do that? I tried to set the font in my java program to TimesRoman, but I got the same error.
