guys instead of editing the XFree86 conf by hand ... isn't there an fglrxconfig that you can use? It will ask you a few questions then generate a config file for you.
i already done that

i cant even run Terminal atm!!!
nothing works ((
and i dont want to format again for second time cause of this bug
any way to restore kde items like menu start games, programs, everything? :/
can you load Gnome instead of KDE? You should be able to access KDE's menu options from Gnome, this will allow you to add things back to KDE's start menu and then you can use KDE again instead of Gnome.
im in Gnome but when i start home i cant find anything about KDE
(Gnome works fine and the kde nothing works bug i read about it that more ppl have it)
but ok...
i cant find them :/

skadub thank you for your help. I haven't used KDE in FOREVER let alone an rpm based system. so it's always difficult for me to help people out in that arena thank you.
mausie, glad to see you're up and running. we almost lost you there for a moment, sorry this was such a struggle, looking back at the hard time I had with ATI and their drivers I sometimes wish I had gotten an nvidia but oh well.
