How do I add an App to Bookmarks

Is there an easy, simple way to add an application to the Bookmarks section?
Without entering all the file:/ information by hand? Thanks.

What do you mean, "application"? Are you referring to a link or website name? And what browser are you using or what application are you trying to add bookmarks to?

I mean a link to internal apps like the Mozilla Browser, Netscape,
or e.g., Evolution. Not their web sites. I am using Mnk 9.1 and KDE, with the Bookmarks on the drop down menu from the Bookmark icon on the task bar.

why do they have to be bookmarks? The apps you mention appear in the KDE menu and you can edit the menu using menudrake or kmenuedit.
