Draksync 2 local directory ??

Hi! I am wondering if I can draksync 2 directory on the same machine, but different drives? i.e home directory.

This would be great each time you fresh install Mandrake distribution without having to copy the whole thing before. ie documents etc in your home directory. or with evolution without losing all your contacts.

Or maybe another gui program tht I am not aware of ...

Thanks

Richard

If I understand you correctly, you want to back up your /home so you won't lose it when you do a re-install?

If so, next time you reinstall, create a separate partition for /home and restore your backup into that partition. From then on, if you ever need to re-install, you would format only the root partition, leaving /home intact with all your settings/files. Most people create a separate /home partition for that reason.
