I want to set up my adsl connection with drakconnect and use net_monitor to connect to the net
drakconnect do not see my 3com pcmcia

if I type as root ifconfig I see the eth0 up but with no ip number
I have been able to set up the ADSL connection using pppoe and adsl-tools

who can help me to make drakeconnect and net_monitor work

Do you have other PCMCIA cards that work? If not, the kernel has to have been compiled with PCMCIA support. If PCMCIA support was compiled, but as a module, that module will need to be loaded. Not using a laptop I can't tell you what that module is called, but (for example) if it is called "pcmcia.o" then you would first need to type (as root):

insmod pcmcia

or possibly:

modprobe pcmcia

Again, I don't know what the real name of that module is, or whether you will need to load multiple modules.

I think it is a problem in a configuration script
because the pcmcia card works.
