Angry cant install realplayer 10 gold


downloaded realplayer10gold.bin how do i install the file

it might be stupid, but i couldnt figure out how to run it

You may need to make it executable first, so
1) $chmod +x realplayer10gold.bin
2) $./realplayer10gold.bin

oh, i did that.
i meant after installation, how do i run it?

Just follow the path to wherever you installed it and run "./realplay" e.g. in my case, its in /usr/local/RealPlayer so to run it I could change into that directory and run ./realplay. An alternative would be to create a symlink e.g.
#ln -s /usr/local/RealPlayer/realplay /usr/local/bin/realplay
so if you just run "realplay" from a console or from a shortcut, then realplayer should run.

when i try to install i get this error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Well, you need to install libstdc++ or compat-libstdc++ (or something similar depending on your distro).
