There must be something going around, earlier Acid was coughing really bad somewhere. You might want to get some Robitussin DM, it doesn't sound as bad as Acid's yet.

OK, contest it is. No offense taken about the old logo. I am no graphics artist. If I had known the site was going to be this popular I probably would have never used it Members can email me their logos.

Some really bad ones that I came up with in about 30 seconds (I do love Gimp's ScriptFu functions):

Linux Questions - For Bullet Proof Newbie Advice
Linux Questions - Where Newbies Come For Help version 1
Linux Questions - Where Newbies Come For Help version 2

I'm working on some others as well... (I know that these ones suck big time!)

Alright, I came up with a new one. It might look better with the orange being blue though, as that is the main color of the site, so it matches better, but that can be changed with ease.

You guys rule! I tried to build one, and it was so shameful I didn't even save the file.

Artistic talent is just a little below the bottom of my grasp.

Good job artists!

Yeah, Tricky, I think that's a pretty good design, and I think you're right about the colours: like this site, it's clean and works well! I'm currently working on something more advert-like. Tux sitting alone with a though bubble popping up... a queston mark appears in that thought bubble... *ping*... a quote bubble with LQ in it... this then sort-of shifts over to the right and becomes the Linux Questions logo. I will post a link as soon as I have anything workable.
