Question

I was reading this nice post and I thought to a question that I'm thinking about from the last time I modified my profile here at LQ. It's just a little bit off topic, but I prefer to question this small thing here and not to open a new thread..
So, when I read messages I see for the most of you a little icon indicating the Linux distro you are using.. But for me (and for some other users) there's not a slackware icon (like it have to be) but a generic penguin..

Someone could please explain me why these difference between users?
Thank you very much!

I think given the debate over it being used or not used, perhaps it could be done on a per-user basis - that is, users set in their profile if they want to disclose their browser, and an option is also made available that if enabled, hides all browser icons, if they're shown.
That way people can turn it on or off to suit themselves.
