I think they should create an advanced section that answers difficult questions like NFS, NIS, DNS, Kernel tweaking ...etc. Anyone has any suggestions to this?
Well we have the Newbie section, feel free to post more advanced questions in one of the most appropiate forums that we already have and that the question is suitable in. No need to clutter up the forums with more forums to confuse members, create more double posts, etc.
I can't see any use for an "advanced" section. What is "advanced"? Having a seperate section could only lead to elitism or people posting "non-advanced" questions in the hope that someone will see it and answer it quicker than the other sections.
linux -newbie : for seemingly idiotic questions (even tho they might be hard, like setting up alsa, mounting, etc )
linux - general : for anything thats not so idiotic, like stuff that belongs in you'r advanced section (which is really a matter of opinion, the 2 forums are almost exactly the same, I'm surprised they weren't just merged)
(no offense to the word "idiotic", but i cant come up with anything better)
