Hello,I hope somebody can help me here. So, I use vmware workstation pro 16.2 with win 10 host and opensuse 15.4 guest (with btrfs filesystem).
Suddenly I can't login into my linux vm. Here's the screenshot 1 ( I dont know how to copy paste in emergency mode) of /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt on suspicious part. Somehow the linux can't mount /dev/sda2(??).
After trying boot opensuse iso for rescue attempt of my opensuse vm,
I run btrfs check and got
parent transid failed something. From here I'm lost
(see screens shot 2 for the result )
Anyone have a clue what's the next step to fix this? Thanks in advance.
Ok, that's no problem. If you can't rescue it with the tools, It's just time to restore your backup, one of the many.
If you don't have a back up, this is where to wish you had a backup and resolve to do things better after you reinstall. Do have a trawl on google in case there's some clever trick. I never tried btrfs because I thought the repair tools were basic compared with ext 2/3/4.
For backups with VB, I never did more than backup the hard disk image as a binary and have that to restore. You will probably want to check the underlying partition.

Right, I read your notices in Post #1. You have Input/output errors, which usually signify a disk fatality. Modern disks are not like the old days when a disk would clunk away happily with bad sectors. Now it's a case of trying a few last throws of the dice, because the disk is borked.
Sadly, your initrd is failing to mount. The initrd provides a basic system until / is mounted, but you don't even have that. So unless you can get in with a live usb somehow, I don't see an option for you. If you've been designing or something, and your work is of value to you, you may wish to involve professionals. If you have grub, you may be ably to insert enough modules to mount / without the initrd, and leave out the initrd altogether, but can you edit grub.cfg in /boot without the VM up?
Also you use vmware. I know virtualbox has it's own proprietary disk system. If vmware uses normal file systems, you may be able to rescue data from the host. Otherwise, the outlook is bleak.
